Most productions piece together five or six different tools. One for scheduling, another for breakdown, spreadsheets for the budget, something else for call sheets, and a notes app for transport. SetShaper does all of it in one app, and the parts stay connected. Let the optimizer lay your scenes across shoot days, pick your dates, then import your cast and props into the budget. They stay tied to that schedule, so moving a day updates every actor's days and every prop's usage on its own.
See every featureSet your dates, drop in the script, and hit Optimize. Every scene lands on a day, with locations grouped, day and night kept apart, and actor availability respected. Give your locations their GPS coordinates and it keeps the driving between them down too.
Start from a template, your own rate cards, or a budget you bring in from Movie Magic (.xml) or Excel. Then the schedule does the arithmetic: import a character or a whole department and SetShaper reads their work, hold, travel and prep days off the Day out of Days, each at its own rate. Move a shoot day and their lines in the budget follow it.
SetShaper's AI tags props, wardrobe, vehicles, and stunts on your own computer, so your script never leaves it. Promote the tags you want to track to elements, import them into the budget, and see every scene an element appears in on the Magic Sheet.
When the day is on the schedule, Autofill brings in its scenes, cast and locations, with the hospital and parking you saved on each location. Weather fills in for any location with GPS coordinates whenever you have a connection. Send a prelim, make it final, and issue numbered revisions with the changes printed under the header. The day's sides come out attached to the same PDF, instead of being cut by hand in Final Draft.
Link camera angles and framing to every scene. Shots without art get automatic framing diagrams based on shot size, angle, and subject. Set shot timing and export your storyboard as a video animatic.
Log spend against every budget line and attach the invoice or proof of payment, so the variance moves as you go. The Payment Schedule shows what falls due when, and Cashflow tracks money in against money out, so you can see a short week before it arrives.
Many productions pay for a scheduling app, a budgeting app, and another tool for breakdown and call sheets. One SetShaper subscription covers scheduling, budgeting, breakdown and call sheets, with every feature included.

As a native desktop application, SetShaper runs locally on your computer. On a closed soundstage or a remote location with zero signal, it keeps working. The schedule optimizer and the script breakdown run inside the app, so nothing is metered and there are no credits to run out of mid-shoot. Your projects are files on your own computer.
Bird's-eye budget dashboards, cashflow tracking, and production Gantt charts.
Detailed budgets with actuals, payment schedules, and variance analysis.
One-click stripboard optimization, call sheets, transport logistics, and DOOD tracking.
Unified workspace for multiple projects with offline-first security and full reports.

A spending hierarchy for small productions: why sound and lighting beat a better camera body, when to rent, and the kit decisions that survive contact with a real shoot.
Scheduling in one app, budget in a spreadsheet, call sheets in a third. The tools aren't the problem. The seams between them are. The case for running a production in one project file.
